This turnbuckle acts as  large adjustment hardware for 6mm HMPE life line runs on the vessel. The LS-2900 turnbuckle would be installed on the bow pulpit and mostly used for stern gate runs, aft gate runs, or no gate applications. In the closed position from post to post is 7 1/2" and fully extended would be 11 1/2" giving the installer 4" of adjustment to work with.
